Beschrijving

Since March 2019, we are responsible for the complete processing in the newly built Factory 56, Mercedes Benz Group AG, in Sindelfingen. In Factory 56, only the top Mercedes models are built à S-class, Maybach and EQS. On just one floor, all vehicles of various designs and drive types can be produced - from conventional to fully electric drive.Via 6 unloading points, the goods are directed to block storages or high level racks and then supplied to the picking zones or directly to the assembly lines by means of forklifts and tugger trains. In the picking zones, which are located at a direct distance from the assembly lines, pick-by-light or pick-by-scan systems are used in addition to automated guided vehicles (AGV). The AGVs transport the picked baskets of goods to the conveyor sections fully automatically.
